Located in the heart of Chinatown, this is a charming market with ample seating and a variety of food options. There are numerous choices related to Asian cuisine, but I even noticed a Hispanic food option. While Chinatown is known for being cheap and affordable, this market was on the pricier side, likely due to its more gentrified food offerings. My friend and I tried the noodles with chicken, which was just okay. I wasn't fond of the chicken cutlets, as they lacked breadcrumbs and had a somewhat slimy texture. Another interesting aspect was the inclusion of peanuts in the dish--a common way to enjoy noodles, but it still stood out to me. I think if you want very delicious authentic Asian food, definitely go to the more hidden spots since this seemed to attract tourists more if anything. Personally, I drowned my noodles in the spicy chili powder, as I love spicy food. The portion was decent for $15, but I couldn't finish the meal. It's worth noting that we had to assemble the food ourselves once we received it.

My family and I enjoyed the Thai tea and sushi at Lazy Sundaes and Dahon Vegan. It's worth visiting though there's not a lot of seating if you plan to eat in the food court. They could have more seating if they got rid of the little stuffed animal machines at the front.

Located right on the Main Street of Canal, you'll find an eatery and a rotating artisan shop inside the Canal Street Market. Expect a dozen or so options for food and drinks (from vegetarian sushi, to ramen, to noodles, filipino food, korean bbq) as well as coffee or boba shops and more. The rotating artisan market is large and you'll find hand made crafts for sale. A fun place that is very easy to pop into. There is plenty of seating in the back if you're dining in and don't miss out on the fun Japanese vending machines.

I stumbled upon this food hall on Canal Street. Cute little shops to eat and clothes, accessories and other miscellaneous things to purchase.
